Best known as the voice of “Cashier Number Three, please”, Tavistock-based customer services guru Terry Green has just published his first thriller, “Redline” – a fast and furious read, set in the glamourous world of sports cars. In a unique tie-up with two local businesses, readers who buy the novel at Book Stop in Market Street, Tavistock will receive a voucher to enjoy one of the best cappuccinos in town, for free, at Taylors, just across the street – the promotion runs until Christmas. Signed copies of “Redline” are also available to buy from Tavistock Visitor Information Centre. Terry says: “My first foray into writing was a business book, “You’re Next.” A reader commented that it read like a thriller so I set about a twist on the classic detective story – a series of novels set against the background of my varied career. Oh sure, there would have to be lies, fraud, murder and challenges for our hero, Jake Elderfield, with some delicious scandal and just a touch of romantic intrigue.” For more information: terry-green.co.uk.
