From the author of “You’re Next” and the man who introduced the British habit of queueing to more than 40 countries, here’s the chance to hear about the twists and turns of his new career as a crime thriller writer.
Join Terry at Barnstaple Library at 2pm on Saturday 23rd May for a fascinating and informal talk about his work and his latest nail-biting crime thriller.
The event is the first to be scheduled as part of the launch activity for Terry’s new book, Dangerous Art. The talk is also one of a series which Terry is organising as an enthusiastic supporter of National Crime Reading Month. This annual campaign is led by the Crime Writers Association, of which Terry is a member. Working in partnership with the Reading Agency, the CWA spends the whole of June promoting the pure pleasure of crime reading.
Devon-based Terry Green, “The Voice of Cashier Number Three, Please” was already a twice-published business author when, in 2025, he launched his debut crime thriller, Redline. This high-suspense page-turner, set in the glamorous world of sports cars, has received 5* reviews and been dubbed “a race from start to finish”.
On 21st May 2026, he publishes Dangerous Art, the second in his Jake Elderfield series. Be the first to find out about this exciting sequel, which starts at Burgh Island and moves to Prague, before returning to Devon.
