Hats off to a Pirate Festival
Who doesn’t love an excuse to dress up as a pirate? And for writer Terry Green, it’s also an opportunity to add to his hat collection!
Look out for him at Burgh Island’s annual Tom Crocker Day on Friday August 14, helping to celebrate the legendary pirate who reputedly haunts the island and its historic pub, The Pilchard Inn.
This vibrant family-friendly event in and around the ancient, atmospheric island pub, The Pilchard Inn starts at noon and continues until 4pm with live music, activities and entertainment.
Terry loves meeting and talking to his readers and he will be there selling and signing his books, Redline and Dangerous Art. He’ll be chatting to visitors about what inspired him to set the opening scenes of Dangerous Art at iconic Burgh Island Hotel, where the book is also on sale from reception.
